Important Note: Center Street
in North Salt has a speed limit of 25 m.p.h.. Please watch for
kids and cops (in that order.)
Most
People get lost for three reasons: 1. They did not read the directions
carefully. 2. They tried to find us in down-town Salt Lake City (we are
in North Salt Lake, which is five miles north of down-town) and 3. They
tried to find us in Bountiful. We are in North Salt Lake, which is at
the Southern-most end of Davis County, or what some people would
consider to be the Bountiful area.
How to find us:
Heading South on I-15 (Coming from the North):
Take Exit 314 (North Salt Lake Center Street Exit) this will bring you
to a stop sign at the end of the ramp. Make a left turn here. You are
now traveling East (uphill) on Center street. Continue through a stop
sign and a traffic light. Continue until you come to 164 East. We are
on the South side of the street.
Heading North on I-15 (Coming from the South):
Take Exit 312 (US HWY 89) this road runs parallel to I-15 for a
distance. You will come to a light that is used by the gravel trucks,
continue North on 89. You will come to a second light, make a right
turn. The landmark here is Neighbor's Market. You are now on Center
Street heading East. Continue until you come to 164 East. We are on the
South side of the street.
Coming from I-215 Northbound (Coming from the Airport or the West part of the valley):
Take Exit 28 (Redwood Road) and make a left turn onto Redwood Road. You
should now be traveling North on Redwood Road. Continue until you come
to a traffic light and make a right turn. You are now on Center Street
in North Salt Lake. Continue over the rail-road tracks, through a stop
sign, and through a traffic light. Continue until you get to 164 East.
We are on the South side of the street.
Lost in SLC? If
you find yourself in down-town Salt Lake City and suddenly discover
that down-town doesn't have a center street. You have missed us by one
city. To get here take Beck Street North, but instead of getting on
I-15, hold right and follow the frontage road North until you get to
North Salt Lake.
Lost in Bountiful? If you find
yourself on Center Street in down-town Bountiful and can't find
anything that looks like a business you have missed us by going to
Bountiful instead of North Salt Lake. To get here you will need to find
Hwy 89 and go South. After you go past KMart you will notice that the
street numbers suddenly begin to change, this means you are in North
Salt Lake, which has its own numbering system. Continue South past the
Post Office until you get to the light on Center Street. Make a left
turn and head up the hill for about a block and a half. We are on the
South side of Center Street.
